Meet the HCMC Emergency Medicine Class of 2007
Below you'll find pictures and short bios of all the interesting characters in our class. As you can see, the class is made up of very diverse individuals from varied backgrounds. All are unique and very special in their own way. Although none are very bright, they at least are alert and oriented x3 and can follow basic commands. Please go easy on them, they have only just learned about the shiny light box in the corner of the room and most have never heard of the internet. All work below was done by the creative genius of Scott Davarn. Thanks Scott for contributing to GBC.
| Nathan Unkefer, MD: As an undergraduate at Michigan State University, Dr Unkefer completed research in entomology titled "The most bugs I ever ate." He soon turned this into a best selling cookbook and now hosts his own cooking show on FoodNetwork called "Cookin' up critters with Nate" airing Wednesdays at 3 AM. | ![]() |

Rimon Bengiamin, MD: Voted "most likely to be FABULOUS" in high school, Dr. Bengiamin earned fame and fortune when he created a designer line of adult diapers "for folks on the go" endorsed by such celebrities as Bob Dole and tennis great Pete Sampras. |
| Gavin Budhram, MD: While in medical school Dr. Budhram helped establish a clinic devoted to caring for underserved patients, specifically single mothers aged 18-25. Here he worked tirelessly, often long, hard, late nights and weekends of hands on care, ensuring this population received the attention it deserved. | ![]() |

Carolyn McClain, MD: Dr. McClain began her first career in Hollywood as a child star, turning heads as Trudy in the "What's goin' down" episode of "That's My Momma." Unfortunately her promising career was cut short after a brutal knife fight on the set of Blossom, but despite seventeen stitches and two glass eyes she recovered well enough to embark on a new & exciting career in medicine. |
| Sharon Carmody, MD: Dr. Carmody volunteered at local charity during medical school where she pre-chewed food for shut-ins. An avid bodybuilder/kickboxer, she received "Most Promising Newcomer" award at the 1995 Miss Galaxy Superfitness expo in Laughlin, Nevada. | ![]() |

Kathleen Stirling, MD: Easily distracted by bright, shiny objects and loud noises, Dr. Stirling's hobbies include staring into space, naptime, and bedwetting. Kathy, as she prefers to be called, is also a national security expert for the Bush administration. Four more years! |
| Lisa Skinner, MD: Described as "outdoorsy," Dr. Skinner was born on a mountain top in Tennessee and killed a bear when she was three. Although she ain't much for book learnin,' her skill with firearms and hand-to-hand combat gave her a distinct edge over almost all other residency candidates. | ![]() |

Dan Lewis, MD: Dr. Lewis supported his family by working several jobs during medical school, including EMS, and as a male dancer at the "Man Hole," a gentlemans club outside of Minot, ND where he made lifelong friends with many of the clientele |
| Katie Vogt, MD: Dr Vogt ranks as her proudest achievement being voted "Pork Product Princess" from 1996-99 at the Minnesota State Fair. Her royal duties included refereeing the annual pig wrestling festival in Leseur, MN and spearheading Hormels "Go Pork Yourself" ad campaign. | ![]() |

Ann Lapine, MD: After initially pursuing a career in Med/Peds, Dr. Lapine "saw the light" of Emergency Medicine, and the light from the spacecraft of Alien invaders, who abducted Dr. Lapine in late 2003 and released her only after a series of painful anal probings. Her hobbies include making tinfoil hats and shouting obscenities at passing strangers. |
| Scott Davarn, MD: "Dr" Davarn's application is under further review at this time. The less said, the better. | ![]() |
