Medical School Graduation 2004

After four years at med school, when match day has come and gone, it’s finally time for graduation. We are all, of course, accomplished medical professionals at this point. Notice George doing the fireman’s carry on Jennifer at the bonfire. The hooding ceremony was very quiet and serious, and we all met with family afterwards. I kept my cap and gown on until Shaun finally said "Hey Merlin, give it a rest." Next day was the actual graduation ceremony with the rest of KU at the football field. There was the traditional walk down the hill (but when we got to the bottom, most people had left? Huh? Where’d they go?) Afterwards, Pon and I stopped by Jessica’s for an after graduation party. Below we see Hamid, my favorite future neurosurgeon at the Medical College of Georgia, as well as Myhanh who matched in internal medicine at Maine Medical Center.
